چکیده
Excessive heat losses and water consumption in cooling units are significant constraints restricting the application circumstances performances for SCO2 Brayton cycle, exchange capacity precooler (PRC) is typically 1.5 times that of power generation. Therefore, this research offers a high-integrated combined power/cooling system which two waste exchangers (WHEs) rectifier (RET) used instead PRC to achieve 100% exhaust recovery. Each component’s energy exergy models developed, operational characteristics, coupling relationships, destruction distribution examined. Results indicate that, when compared thermal efficiency considerably increased, concentration difference WHE1 pitch point have influences on performance. Further exergoeconomic optimization analysis reveals superior case mostly recommended relevant increasing rates 13.7% 9.17%, respectively, unit cost 81.33% base case. Turbine 1 (TUR1) main compressor (MCP) first second highest rates, RET generator (GEN) account roughly 34% rate 20% rate, respectively. In addition, reducing transfer differences equipment can further promote

Thermodynamic analysis of a novel combined system which is combination of methane fired gas turbine cogeneration system (CGAM) with a supercritical CO2 recompression Brayton cycle (SCO2) and an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) is reported. Also, a comprehensive parametric study is performed to investigate the effects on the performance of the proposed system of some important parameters. Finally, a ...
متن کاملLife Cycle Assessment of Completely Recyclable Concrete
Since the construction sector uses 50% of the Earth's raw materials and produces 50% of its waste, the development of more durable and sustainable building materials is crucial. Today, Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) is mainly used in low level applications, namely as unbound material for foundations, e.g., in road construction. Mineral demolition waste can be recycled as crushed aggreg...
متن کاملLife Cycle Assessment (LCA) of an Integrated Biomass Gasification Combined Cycle (IBGCC) with CO2 removal
Basing on results of previous studies, the efficiency of a Brayton/Hirn combined cycle, fuelled with a clean syngas produced by means of biomass gasification and equipped with CO2 removal by chemical absorption, resulted 33.94%, considering also the separated CO2 compression process. The specific CO2 emission of the power plant was 178 kg/MWh. In comparison with values previously found for an I...
متن کاملIonic Liquids and Supercritical CO2
Ionic liquids (ILs) are organic salts that have melting points around room temperature. They have received tremendous attention recently due to their low volatility and subsequent potential to reduce air pollution if used as replacements for volatile organic solvents. As a result, they have the potential to be used in a wide variety of chemical processing applications, including as solvents for...
